On winning the race: “After the Tuncurry Cup Adam (Watt) said we should wait for this race but I said she had done so well and we gave her a trip away to Dubbo where it was a very good run.She has done well since, three weeks to today’s race and everything worked out well.”
On the ride: “We had the gun young jockey, Zac Lloyd, a nice lightweight, small field and good barrier. Zaci is a genius, he gave it a perfect run, let her build into it. She had no weight on her back today and had that bit of zip about her.’’

On the run: “As we spoke about pre race we had a good plan. It worked out perfectly. She had a lovely run. I wanted to get there sooner rather than later because she is very deep into her prep. She is fit and can sustain a good gallop. Very happy to get the win for Jason and for Dynamic as well.”
On the track: “Unbelievable. It is remarkable with the rain we had earlier this week how it has presented. Credit to all the groundstaff team, Mike Wood, they have done fantastic. Genuinely felt like a ‘6’ out there. Every horse will have a fair chance today.”
